All we can say is WOW! Our good friend Samantha (you may have seen her on our website) contacted us about a year ago and asked if we would be available to provide DJ services for her and Adam’s Glenwood Springs wedding. Without hesitation we said yes!
We’ve had the pleasure of DJing at this location for another wedding, which was for a good friend of Samantha and we were excited to be back. This private residence has lovingly been coined The River House. This is totally appropriate since the house is literally on the Roaring Fork River. To say the views here are breathtaking would be an understatement.
We had a great time during the planning process with Sam and Adam discussing music, timeline and the overall vision of the wedding. The day of was looking a little gloom, just because there were some rain clouds rolling in. Luckily, it just sprinkled for a few minutes before the ceremony and cleared up for the rest of the day.
The ceremony was beautiful and had several sentimental moments. After the ceremony, we went into cocktail hour, dinner, speeches and dancing. Once dancing started, it didn’t stop until the end of the night. We do have to say, their son Felix did steal the show a couple of times on the dance floor!
Love between Sam and Adam, along with love from their family and friends was definitely present. From mingling, sharing a meal, to dancing, you could tell everyone came out to celebrate Sam and Adam. We can’t thank them enough for trusting us, and for the honor and privilege of being part of their special day.
