A Perfect Fall Day in the Colorado Mountains
There’s something magical about fall weddings in the Colorado mountains — crisp air, golden leaves, and that warm, glowing light that seems to make every moment feel cinematic. Q and Jess’s celebration at the historic Hamill House Museum in Georgetown had all of that and more.
Guests were greeted by the charm of the 19th-century Hamill House, surrounded by rich autumn colors and mountain views. During cocktail hour, they even had the opportunity to tour the museum, adding a fun and personal touch to the evening. The ceremony took place just a short walk away with a breathtaking mountain backdrop, and right after the couple said “I do,” a few deer made an unexpected appearance, a perfect Colorado moment that had everyone smiling.
For the ceremony, the playlist was intimate and heartfelt — featuring songs like “We’re Going to Be Friends” by The White Stripes and “Home” by Phillip Phillips. Q and the wedding party walked down to “On the Nature of Daylight” by Max Richter, while Jess made her entrance to a special surprise song chosen just for her. The emotion in that moment set the tone for the rest of the night.
As the newlyweds made their grand entrance to “Theme from New York, New York” by Frank Sinatra, the energy in the room was electric. Dinner featured a mix of Broadway-inspired instrumentals and movie classics, perfectly matching the couple’s personality and creativity. Their first dance to “Anyone Else But You” by The Moldy Peaches was sweet, sincere, and full of character, just like them.

Later in the evening, Q and his mom surprised guests with a two-part mother-son dance, seamlessly transitioning from “Bridge Over Troubled Water” into “You Never Can Tell” by Chuck Berry, which had everyone cheering. From there, the dance floor stayed packed all night long with favorites like “Mr. Brightside”, “I Wanna Dance With Somebody”, and “Shout.”
We provided DJ, uplighting, and dance lighting to bring the space to life, and you could truly feel the love and support surrounding these two from the first song to the last.
Congratulations again to Q and Jess — thank you for letting Nufusion Productions be part of such a beautiful and unforgettable Colorado mountain wedding.
