General DJ FAQ
What areas do you serve?
Nufusion Productions provides DJ services throughout Denver, Boulder, Aurora, and surrounding Colorado areas. We also regularly travel to mountain venues across the state including Vail, Breckenridge and Winter Park. Travel fees may apply depending on distance and logistics.
How do we check availability?
The best way to check availability is by submitting an inquiry through our contact form. Because many dates, especially Saturdays from May through October, book far in advance, availability can change quickly.
How do we book you?
Booking is simple:
Confirm availability.
Review and select your package.
Sign the agreement electronically.
Submit the booking retainer.
Once those steps are completed, your date is officially secured.
Do you require a deposit?
Yes. A booking retainer is required to reserve your date. This ensures exclusivity, as we only accept one event per date per DJ team.
When is the final payment due?
Final payment is typically due prior to the event date. Specific timelines are outlined in your agreement so there are no surprises.
Do you offer payment plans?
Yes. We understand weddings and large events involve many expenses, and we are happy to discuss structured payment schedules when needed.
What is your minimum coverage time?
Minimum coverage depends on event type, but most weddings include multi-hour coverage to properly support ceremony, cocktail hour, and reception flow.
How much space do you need for setup?
A standard DJ setup typically requires approximately 6 to 8 feet of width and access to a dedicated power outlet. We are flexible and can adapt to tighter layouts when necessary.
How long does setup and teardown take?
We typically arrive 1.5 to 2 hours before start time to ensure everything is tested and ready. Teardown is handled efficiently after the event concludes.
Do you bring your own equipment and backup equipment?
Yes. We provide all professional sound and lighting equipment required. We also bring backup components to every event for reliability.
Are you insured?
Yes. We carry liability insurance and can provide a certificate of insurance upon request.
Do you have a backup DJ if there is an emergency?
Yes. We operate as a structured team, not a solo hobbyist operation. In the unlikely event of an emergency, contingency plans are in place to protect your event.
